Sensatek brings heat – high temperatures in engines that is – to the Advancements TV Series
Airing on CNBC Nov. 20, Advancements, hosted by Ted Danson, explores Sensatek’s innovative RF sensing technology
An award-winning educational series and an innovative propulsion technology company meet to showcase how the aerospace industry and other power-generated machinery can be helped by a tiny RF sensor.
Airing on CNBC Nov. 20, Advancements gets up close with Sensatek’s RF sensing technology to see how the company plans to assist in the advancement of turbine engines that are powering our lives.
The series will talk with several experts in the field. Sensatek’s CEO Reamonn Soto will discuss the evolution of the technology company – where they started and where they plan to take their patented wireless sensors to continue to improve safety, efficiency and reliability of turbine machines. Sensatek’s CTO Joshua McConkey will dive into the conditions the RF sensors can withstand, how they measure operations and data, and how they can improve the lifespan of engines.
The series will also highlight the work Sensatek has done with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Research Park, by demonstrating the RF sensors on a Learjet engine, as well as questions answered by Professor Christopher Lee of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
“Advancements covers some ground-breaking innovative topics and trends,” said Soto. “And I think our RF sensing system certainly fits in those parameters. I was excited to work with the production team and show what we do and where we plan to go with our technology.”
Sensatek’s segment on Advancements will air on CNBC Saturday, Nov. 20 at 2:30 p.m. ET.
Advancements is produced by DMG Productions and broadcasts on a number of networks and streaming platforms. You can watch previous episodes now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
